The Data Scout from Stric-Lan SCADA is an innovative addition to our SCADA Product Line. The Data Scout is specifically designed for data retrieval from large numbers of wells in concentrated areas. The typical Data Scout instillation would consist of several wells with in a 5 mile radius. One central well is equipped within a full RTU Package, while up to 5 other satellite wells would be equipped with the Data Scout. The satellite wells communicate with the main RTU Package through a spread spectrum radio for which there is no repeating communication link for up to 6 wells. This means that you significantly reduce our communication cost. The Data Scout is now, in many situations, a more effective solution than capital intensive licensed radio systems.
Specifications 
- The Data scout Package consists of Rosemount 3095FT flow computer, 20 watt solar panel, backup battery, 900Mhz spread spectrum radio and an RTS Signal Conversion module.
- Software functionality is maintained including remote access to change gas compositions and orifice plate size.
- Radio are programmable to prevent crosstalk between neighboring sections.
- Measured and calculated data is displayed locally on the flow computer for the operator at location.
