The MSDA is a memory surface data acquisition gauge designed to measure and record two pressures and one externally collected temperature. The MSDA features a digital readout display giving you instantly viewable data. The MSDA features an RS485 output option, allowing data to be transmitted via cabling to a laptop/desktop computer where plots and data can be viewed in real-time on location and/or connected to the SCORPION System for transmission to a secure client accessible website. The MSDA unit is designed to meet CSA and UL standards and is approved Intrinsically safe for Div I Class 1 Groups A,B,C,D.

Stric-Lan now offers the ability to add a Quartzdyne DS Quartz Pressure Sensor to our MSDA’s. Quartz crystal technology gives the best stability and resolution of any known pressure sensing technology.

WHP to BHP Conversions and Well Analysis
Bottom hole pressure conversions from well head pressure are made using Stric-Lan’s proprietary custom in-house software. For dry and low yield gas wells, a modified Cullender & Smith tubing correlation is employed, while for high yield gas wells a Gray tubing correlation is used. A well head temperature model is incorporated in the software to compensate for the influence of surface temperature effects.
Our engineers, with over 20 years of experience, provide full pressure transient analysis reporting. By utilizing Stric-Lan’s in-house interpretation software in conjunction with state-of-the-art commercial software, we are able to provide complete and accurate answers to the most complex questions.
